It means that if you're leaving the house, or going on holiday, all electrical circuits – except the essential ones – will be switched off with a single switch, which is usually located at the front door. Essential power, such as for refrigerators or heating and ventilation systems, remains on. This means you don't have to check that you've switched off all non-essential devices before leaving the house. The package also allows you to check and control devices remotely on a smartphone, for example, turning lights on and off when you go on holiday. This package is not included in the standard price.
